An Innovative Spark

This virus, the virus, will be recalled by each of us in its own way - a bylaw, an intriguer, an opportunity, a killer.

But if our economy were a conscious being, might she regard the little thing as an innovative spark?

Who among us has not had to approach their work differently, think about fashion and appearance differently, interact with mother differently, catch up with friends differently, eat differently, take a break differently - even re-consider the take the loo paper?

What life-changing solutions are being conjured presently? How will the virus affect the way we solve global warming, the plastic seas, knife crime, how we put a value on life, and finally, how we deal with the death taboo?

To think of innovation at a time like this? But is that how history will come to think of 2020?

I am haunted ever by a song from my boyhood, In the Year 2525.... if man is still alive. In the 60's it appeared we were not so far away from a wake up call, and now it appears we are in the midst of one.
